June 24th Meeting - Adaptive DBS

Michelle Reed, Deep Brain Stimulation Therapy (DBS) Representative for Medtronic, will present about the company’s new adaptive DBS system, BrainSense™. Approved by the FDA in February 2025, the new technology captures brain signals the moment a problem, such as freezing, occurs and allows the care team to adjust and correct settings based on the real-time record. Medtronic has often been a sponsor of the CSRA Parkinson Support Group over the years and we look forward to partnering with them in the years to come.
