January Meeting: Therapeutic Golf

Please join us on Tuesday, January 25th at 6 pm, in-person at the Clubhouse at Brandon Wilde. We are pleased to welcome Marty Turcios and Melody Lacy of Marty Turcios Therapeutic Golf, who will present about how their free recreational golf therapy can utilize adaptive golf as a means of medically-relevant treatment. These lessons can benefit those with a variety of problems including Parkinson's disease. Marty began playing golf at age 7, teaching people with disabilities professionally in 1985, and moved to Augusta in 2016, providing the free classes at his current location at Wedges and Woods. Melody Lacy is his partner and personal assistant in this venture. Because of the current COVID spread, masks will be required and we will not be able to serve food.
