About the event
Please join us on Tuesday, April 26th at 6 pm, in-person at our new location, in the Georgia Room at Brandon Wilde, or live on Zoom and Facebook Live. Charlotte Chatto, PT, PhD, Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy and Professor Emerita at Augusta University, will be presenting and demonstrating the benefits of Nordic pole walking for anyone, but especially people with Parkinson’s disease. She will give participants an opportunity to try Nordic pole walking and discuss opportunities in the community to participate.
To get to the Georgia Room, enter the Brandon Wilde at 4275 Owens Road and follow signs to the main entrance, then park in any visitor spot. We will have a golf cart shuttle from the visitor spots to the main entrance and there is a porte-cochère for drop-offs if needed. Logan will greet you and direct you to the Georgia Room, which is just up the hall from the main lobby.
This month also marks the return of our beloved potluck supper! Please bring a covered dish to share if you are able. We will be providing chicken strips and beverages. We hope to see you there!
Our meeting will also be available live at facebook.com/parkinsoncsra and on Zoom through this link: us02web.zoom.us/j/85853349155?pwd=WVlTTUltaE5EWEI1dmxOTTUxeGlvUT09
