Based in Augusta, GA, the CSRA Parkinson’s Support Group has been dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s in counties in Georgia and South Carolina for over 25 years. We reach out locally through our monthly meetings, lunch get-togethers, monthly newsletter, health fairs, exercise programs, respite care grant program, and more. With fundraising events such as our annual walk, we support PD research through the locally-based Augusta University and the Veteran’s Administration and nationally through trusted organizations, such as the Parkinson’s Foundation and the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
“Supporting people with Parkinson’s disease, their families, and their care-partners in the CSRA“
Personally – to serve patients, family members, and friends with support, assistance, the latest information on treatments, with a friendly environment of understanding and acceptance.
Locally – to partner with and be a resource to all health care and personal care providers in our community.
Supporting Research – using donations and fundraisers to support research on the national and local levels, seeking to better diagnose, treat, and find a cure for Parkinson’s disease
